Oh, the frustration.

I need a few odds and ends, nowt golf related, just things only really available on ebay.

Last Monday (that's a week) I logged into PayPal to transfer some money from my bank ac/ to my PayPal ac/.

So, I checked it today in the hope of buying these items off ebay, buy it's a no go....it's being "processed". Processed?
w.t.h.?

Pathetic.....

Anyone got a 7200 mah battery for an acer aspire? ... a starter "bulb" for a lawnmower? ... a front disk brake for a MTB?

No? :D

You should just make your payments via paypal, rather than depositing funds from bank to PP account - much quicker.

On a side note, Paypal, the throbbers, have 'limited' my account until I do some security verification on it. Since when did Paypal do an automated phone call to check that you are at the address declared?!

I need to find a way around it :D

paylapl are just yring to increase security as alot of people still dont have faith in paypal. ive been getting calls all month from paypal merchant services asking us to swap our company credit card payments to them.... fooooooooook no!

I used to do this....it took (or seemed to take) <2 weeks for the seller to get the money. 10 working days or something.

I thought IF the money was already there, the seller would get it quicker, but seemingly not if it takes 7 working days for paypal to take £50 out my bank and put it into my paypal, and then another 5-7 working days to pay some poor person flogging £5 bits and bobs.

Truly grim...

Oh well, it came through (6 + working days) and I did my shopping.

I don't know whether it's worth crediting my account from now on, maybe I'll just buy stuff and let PayPal sort it, take an eternity and let the sellers wait ages before they post.

Anyway.....netbook battery on it's way and hopefully I can mow the lawn before May!

It's a MacCulloch/Electrolux with a Tecumseh Prisma 37 engine.

It did cross my mind you might be able to help.....as it happens I've got one from an ebay shop near my town.

Thanks for thinking about it for me though, much appreciated.

If your Bank details are logged with Paypal and you have no funds in your PayPal account, they can transfer the money instantly - certainly can on my account. I get the choice of straight out of the bank or onto the Credit Card if I have insufficient funds in PP.

I wondering if it's CAN or WILL though. Last time I bought an expensive item and just clicked "pay" with PayPal, the poor geezer didn't see the cash for 2 weeks....and the opposite, I ordered some bits when there was money in the account, and they arrived in 72 hours.... :D

Wh-hooooo

It all arrived just 10 minutes ago.

Faith restored! (in the ebays shops more than PayPal :D)
