Been today in all that Flippin wing and rain. 18 hole medal and thought nah not in this weather. Anyway £4 later and were in.
i was playing like a man possessed. After 12 holes I was smoking then double bogeyed having took four to get down from 15 yd. I rushed to the next hole Si 1, 2 shots and ended up playing 3 off the tee the same on the next 3 off the tee. I was spitting feathers.
par on the last par 5 and finished off with net 74 . I was in the zone and the wheels fell off for three holes which cost me a massive reduction. Gonna beat the poo outta me pillow now.
Positives. Hit my fairways sublime today having read some tips in golf monthly yesterday.
Funnies, bladdered me wood 200 yd and lost ball, PP found ball down a rabbit hole at base of a massive oak tree, identified ball and the threw it back down hole saying I didn't know what the rule was. he was on his stomach retrieving ball a second time.
