First win of the season!

Former presidents day today. Stableford but with double points and nearest the pins on the par 3's to spice it up a bit.
Despite the conditions I played very solid and came in with 56 points and no blobs, winning my division and coming second overall. Also got a 2 and a nearest the pin on the 230 yard 14th. Not a bad mornings work if I say so myself! To top it all its not a qualifier so unless they chop me on general play my handicap won't change, better dust off the sombrero ready for the Grove!

cracking stuff well done! On another positive front my wife won yesterday by 6 shots and has her handicapped lowered by 3! Told her to stop now as we are due to go out in mixed doubles soon and we need as many shot as we can lol

Congrats, sounds like a good round ... I wonder why they decided to make it a non-qualifier (could easily use the scoring for handicapping even if the comp results are based on some other formulae )

We had a temp on one of the holes due to a flooded green so I think the course was probably too short.
