First round played today

First time I've played a proper round with some of my mates.

didnt count second shots off the tee or drop balls etc...managed 103 on a par 71 course which I'm relatively pleased with!

only lost 6 balls so that's a bonus!

Welcome along and welcome to the world of golf. Hope you enjoyed it and that you'll be back for more. Six balls lost isn't a bad effort although more about how often you have to hit it. Get that down and the lost ball count will reduce too

cor that aint bad,
1st time i ever played was at leeds castle.lost a ball on the 1st hole,1st shot on the tee and it shot side ways between my legs where the other 3 guys were standing.twas like a grenade going off they were all in a heap on the ground.
grand total 128 shots.

and 20 odd years later only ever so slightly better.:lol:
