No not a hole in one, but i have just booked my first ever lesson as i cannot hit my driver for toffee and want to get it sorted.

Hopefully there's nothing too serious wrong with me (apart from being cack-handed) but being completely self taught who knows what bad habits i have taught myself

Will the pro let you be coached cack-handed or will he insist you change that grip around in order to be coached?

Well nothing serious needs changing apart from slight adjustment in ball position as it was a smidge too far forward and maybe a slightly stiffer shaft in my woods

after the pro sorted that out he asked my handicap/typical scores and said the only reason I wasn't scoring lower was probably due to a poor short game!

he was bang on as it's pretty **** even on a good day!

next up is a short game lesson!
