First official handicap

Started playing again about 3 months ago after pretty much a year out. I've got the bug again big time and decide to join a local club a month ago. I just got my first official handicap and its 18 which I'm fairly happy with considering the lay-off! I started and played golf for about 18 months before I pretty much stopped playing and I have no idea why I stopped!
It feels good to be a member of a club now and "official" plus its good to get back on here and have a chat!

Well done ademac, the same first handicap as myself just 28 year later. Hope you have a good season getting it down next year.

Great Ademac, I left the game for busines committments for 10 years and yearned to play again. Now retired I play regularly and the bug is still as strong. My 1st time on this forum though. Good luck for bringing that h/c down.
