First medal tomorrow

Playing in my first medal tomorrow (stroke) and really hoping I don't mess up.

I guess you need to relax and enjoy to play at your best?

Don't worry about your score - what will be will be......

Enjoy it. Get some experience of competition. You've got hundreds more to play in and get cut from...

Yeah,

Just take it easy and enjoy. Easy to get uptight especially if playing with new people but best idea is play your own game , swing steady and try and enjoy.

Well...

I played quite well had 5 pars a few one overs which I expect but took a 7 and an 8 on 2 par 4's that really cost me. Ended up gross 72 but my team won the team stapleford with myself contributing 34 points.

Surely you mean net? Oh and it's stableford. Was it a medal or a stableford or a 4bbb?

I always get net a gross mixed up! I do mean net.

The medal was played in stroke but there was also a swindle that I played in. 6 groups of 3 I think.
