First medal comp tomorrow

Really looking forward to it and although playing decent at the moment i always seem to have a couple of nightmare holes which could destroy the card!!

I play off 21 and normal playing partner plays off 26. Unfortunately hes pulled out leaving me to play with 2 guys i dont know. Checked their handicaps and they play off 10.7 and -1.2!! could be a fun day lol. if nothing else im sure ill learn stuff from playing with decent players...

dont worry what they play off or how they play, just play your own game, relax and try to enjoy it

It will be good for you to play with low handicappers!! I played my 1st comp on Sunday and played with 2 8 hcappers. I lpayed rubbish and shot 30 over but when the lower guys hit a bad shot it makes you realise that everyone does it, and they are very helpful/complimentary when you do hit a good one.

Just go out and enjoy it.

So, got myself a new set of Nike slingshot irons this evening!! Really pleased with them just not sure whether to debut them in competition?! Guessing they could take a round or so to get used too...
