First medal at my new club.....

Yeh first medal at Dunbar.....Started with a three putt bogie 6 at the first then got back to level by the 8th to then run up a triple at 9 after plugging in a bunker. The back 9 into the wind saw me par the monster 12th hole with two drivers onto the green but the odd slack shot put Tommo on a gross 80 blows with two sixes and an eight on the card. A birdie two gets me some money and I love the new Nike putter. Not a bad start for a grumpy old git.

I'm happy with that considering the wind was enough to make it a good bit harder. I'm hitting the ball quite well, just need to sort out my course management at one or two holes and get used to the fast greens.....love the course.

Surely he isn't mellowing after his birthday. Is this the dawn of a new Dodger? I'd say that was a fair reward considering the three stab. Not much you can do sometimes with bad lies in bunkers but two drivers into the green sounds like the swing isn't too far off being spot on
