First Hole in One

Had my first ever Hole in One today in Knightsbrook, Trim Co Meath--a wonderful Christy O'Connor designed course.

Third Hole 125 yds to centre with a slight following wind. Well struck Pitching Wedge which pitched 3-4 feet from the hole and roll into the cup.
Great feeling.
Parred the next three holes and then the energy drained from me for a few holes before i got my second wind an finished the round reasonably well.

Never had one but live in hope. There was one close call at Captains Day today which would have been very expensive but apparently it hit the flag, did a lap of honour and stayed out

Yes, congratulations. Had one roll just past the cup last year and another that pitch 4 inches short and come back another 4 inches.

Well done, great feeling. Sound like a good one too. - that's from a woman who's had two, of which one was a complete beginner's fluke - but keeps me one ahead of Mr B. who had his first on New Years DAy this year. Got off light as clubhouse empty!

Congrats, had my first and only one many years ago at the tender age of 17, come so close a number of times since but it's not quite happening!

Well done, its a great feeling to get a hole in one. In the last 2 rounds I've played one of my playing partners has had a hole in one.
