So today I finally found out what HCP I will be playing too...

17 is the number and for my first ever HCP I don't think it's too bad.

The best of my 3 rounds was on the PGA and I can't help but feel it could have been a lot lower. I must of 3 putted 6 greens on that round and even missed a 1 foot birdie putt

Oh well hopefully playing my first comp in a few weeks and updating my HCP to 17.1 in the process :whoo:

Well done mate, pretty good starting point. Managed to turn a 8 foot birdie chance into a three putt bogie yesterday  stuff happens

My first handicap was 17, shot two 90s & a 96....... All equates to 17.1 :( big win coming my way when I get some competition experience under my belt.

Even when you get to single figures you will still be saying " it could have been better". Congrats on the handicap, you've earned it on a difficult course, all be it not quite showing its teeth just yet (the rough will be growing week by week?)

The recent rain has left it thick and green I tell ya, was having to dig in today to get them up and out :swing:

Nice one mate, I too got my first handicap yesterday of 23!! I've lost count of how many times I've been round in 10 shots less than that but I had three nightmares with my cards!! So I'm hoping my first official comp today brings my some good fortune! Lol

I expect you to be 16.something after your first comp. Seems like the first thing you need to work on is your confidence!!!

No I'm actually a very confident person when it comes to sport but I'm going through a little swing change at the moment which has sent my driving and long irons into abit of a twirl. Will be worth it though.
