First Handicap & First Sweep

Got my first handicap of 24 on thursday so decided to play in the sweep this morning with my mate. Was made to feel welcome and met alot of new people but I could not get my game going.

I know Im a high handicapper but 15 points in piss take. I felt so down during the back 9. Only thing that cheered me up was that I parred the last 2 holes. It was playing off 3/4 handicaps but I know its no excuse.

Im not sure if it was nerves or just a bad day. I enjoyed the craic, I just wish I could of done better.

Well I hope my bets come in over the weekend

It can't (shouldn't!) get any worse.....

Probably a few nerves and playing off 3/4 doesn't help but don't worry. If you were good enough to get a 24 handicap then you'll put in some scores before long.
