First golf in 7 weeks!

Due to a mix of factors I'm playing golf for the first time tomorrow in 7 weeks. Exciting!! Weather is looking like it might hold out with no rain too which would be awesome.

Anyone else back to golf recently after a lengthy break?


In other news...I tried to go to the driving range yesterday after work for a warm up to make sure I could still hit a ball, and it's under 2' of water thanks to the River Severn. So that was nice...

Enjoy Scrindle, not played since early Dec when I tore my ankle ligament. Finally got out and hit some half shots yesterday, felt ok so will try and do a bit more friday

Had 1st game since the 28th dec was shocking only played 10 hole due to weather and how bad I was. Was having big push/blocks to the right with every club. So tonight I will be watching YouTube for tips/ drill to sort it.enjoy your game tomoz hope you have better luck than me.

Played on New Years day but abandoned it after 13.

Played both days the last two weekends.

Suppossed to be out Saturday and Sunday this weekend but forecast isn't looking too great.

Haven't swung a club since Dec 18. Booked a day off for Friday with the intention to play but the weather is still rather wet round these parts.

Not been out since Sunday - only had half a dozen rounds this year and not seen any evidence of very wet course - tough being a member at a club with an open final qualifying links course

Haven't played or swung a club since early October Went to the range this afternoon to see if I could remember how to swing...

Bladed the first three wedge shots, then got an attack of the unmentionables but eventually found a rhythm and started hitting some decent shots. Swinging my woods after 3+ months off felt weird, though.

I'll need to get back out and play soon - this has gone on too long.

Haven't been on the course since 14th December. Been working hard on the swing and now turning attention to the short game. Not overly missing it at the moment

Was perfect weather for golf here today. Needed my sunnies on.

Well, had time for 9 holes only today. Showered on and off so got to give the new GG jacket a nice first trial (performed perfectly!!).

Played ok considering the length of time it's been since I even swung a club so I was quite pleased. Only a few shots worse than normal.

1st game since very early December on Sunday and ready to get back into it, around 8 range sessions so far in 14 and all on chipping as badly needed
Will probably top it with the driver off 1st tee on Sunday now

I managed to get out and play 9 holes last Saturday afternoon; first time since Christmas due to the near constant bad weather. Still a bit soft underfoot but at least it wasn't boggy and there was no standing water. Didn't fall over in the mud once either.
