You can't expect to come back first game and straight away play as well as you were before the injury.

Great day at Blackmoor followed by curry and beer in Wokingham. My first shot was 30 yards into the gorse on the right in front of the pro and a group putting lesson with the ladies!! Steve and I were all square after 4 and looked to go 1 up on 5 when we were both a few feet away for 2 but Rich set the tone by chipping from in the cack on the left to hole it!! 2 more birdies followed and a level par front 9 from Rich meant we were 3 down at the turn. we never recovered and Rick and Rich never missed a put from inside 6 foot! really great to get out again and I will be doing more over the coming months before the next op. It is not easy playing with one eye and i am nowhere near 11 anymore but 5 pars today was very encouraging. Thanks for the game guys - good golf, good company, good curry and good beer - what more is there for a great day out!
