Short 255yd par 4. Sherdley park. 11th hole.

17 hybrid, started left, faded into split the fairway. The watch said I had 55yds to the middle of green. Half a wedge, pitched about 10yds short, took a bounce or 2 and gently rolled in the hole.

cue hysterics from me, and calls of you jammy get from pps (there not easy to please)

best part I thought, even if it hadn't gone in it would of been a stone dead birdie.

loved it

Well done many more to come im sure

Know the course and hole well nearly had hole in one few yrs ago on it.......was the best thinned drive ive ever hit dont think it went more than 20ft off the floor but went like a rocket

Well done Dave, I'm still looking for mine, closest was at Moortown on the 1st a couple of years ago but I still get excited with birdies so they'll do for me

My favourite hole on Sherdley, drove the green a few times and come very close to an eagle on a couple of occasions, but still waiting for my first.
Well done mate

Dave

Enjoy the moment , don`t worry about the others , they wish it was them .............My best one was the 9th at Vila Sol in the Algarve , its tree lined on the left and about 330 yards , only once have i drove this green and when i did i holed a putt of about 15th feet for a eagle 2 , had a few others but this one sticks in my mind

I know the pain of missing eagle putts, when I played Sudbrook Moor I drove the short par 4 green but to the back with the pin at the front, left the monster putt an inch or so shy! Would have been my 6th.

I average about 1 a year, but they seem to come in pairs close together.

I missed a 10 footer for my first eagle today:angry: a drive and a 4 wood to reach a par 5 in 2 (a massive rarity in itself), then missed the putt .... the real kicker is I really went for it and ran 4 foot past and missed the return birdie putt...ridiculous.
