First ever Eagle!!!

Although not as special as all of the holes in one that are flying around at the minute tonight I finally made my first eagle. I've had a good few opportunity's and even missed a 2 FT putt for one a while back which Hovis found quite funny :angry:

Anyway the way in which I made it was more pleasing than actually getting my first one.

Par 5 (480 yards) downhill so not the longest but a Par 5 never the less, Hit my drive down the middle with a total of 304 yards which left a 7 iron in from 176ish, hit a great shot to 5FT and holed the left to righter for my first ever well earnt eagle

I'm still stuck on 1, had a few sniffs on par 4s and 5s since but not managed to get the putts to fall.

Well I've holed 3 pitches from 70-110 yards but everyone was for a Birdie on holes where I've hacked out of trouble so I thought I was destined to never get one lol

Nice one. You could say better than an ace because you have to play three good shots to get an eagle on a par 5.

I've had two but neither from the green. One was downwind 4i, 4i to greenside and I chipped in an 8i, and the second my PW the other day. You're right though. The ones seem to be coming thick and fast this month.

I had 175 to the green so 1 club less for it being down hill and another club less for a 5 mph wind. went over the back too! Then i hit the 15th green off the tee!!!!!!!!

I had a slight issue with adkins diving iron. I seemed to have struck the ball inbetween the face and the hossel. Not sure what thats called!!!
