First ever eagle in todays medal!!

On our par 5 8th, a good drive then a slightly thinned 3 wood which ran and ran and finished 8 feet from the flag, holed for an eagle 3!

That was part of a best ever front nine of 39, sadly I forgot how to chip and putt on the back nine and took 47 for a gross 86, net 71. SSS is 72 so I thought I would get a cut and finally get off 15 but CSS came in at 71, so I am stuck on 14.5.

Well done especially as it was in a medal round,always remember my first (only had two) good drive then good three wood to edge of green and holed a nice long putt.

Well done, I'm still waiting for my first, I drove the green on our par 4 1st the other week,pin high aided by the dry weather and left myself a 10 foot up hillier, walked off with a nice par :-(
