Sorry guys bit of a self-indulgent post this one. Playing at Hever Castle on Friday night I got my first ever eagle. It was quite a relief as I have missed 4-5 eagle putts inside 8 feet already this year. I was starting to think it would never happen. On the 7[SUP]th[/SUP] Hole I hit a decent drive leaving myself 240 yards to the middle of the green. I hit a decent three wood that I thought had a chance to get on the green. I was pretty thrilled to see that it was a nice tap in for Eagle, even I couldn’t miss from there! I might have been being greedy but it was pretty close to an Albatross.

That's an unbelievable couple of hits to get up the hill on the 7th in two....must of had your spinach pre round!

Well done!

Not too bad, was just a bounce game with friends. I love it there. Nice and forgiving if your a bit reckless off the tee unlike my place. If I lived nearer I would look to join there. Great place for a forum meet! hint hint

Good man, can't ever imagine me getting a birdie unless I get a 130 yd pitch in.

I actually caught the tree on the corner, was just a good swipe with the 3 wood.

It's always an excellent drive on that hole to give yourself a reasonable 2nd to the green - well done.

Next challenge then is a 2 putt birdie on 17 from the 'Europro tee' in the summer ! I've been on in 2 twice in competition, and 3 putted on both occasions trying to force an eagle.
