First Comp Win

Just had my first ever win in a competition. Played in a 2 day comp this weekend with a nett score of 66 on Saturday and a nett score of 69 today. I play of 15 at Abersoch Golf Club which has a par of 69. Awful conditions today (very windy). Not sure how it's supposed to feel but I'm chuffed to bits. Nice trophy and my name on the board for me to gloat over for the foreseeable.

Had to make a speach aswell as it was the presidents cup comp. Think my handicap is going to drop to about 13 also so happy about that too. I've only been playing since last April and despite the four letter word WORK getting in the way, I'd love to get down to single figures this year. Sorry if there are any typing errors but I've had a few sherberts to celebrate.

only won my first comp at the start of the year, so know how your feeling. since then have won another four competitions including a monthly medal. managed to avoid giving a speech though as I was on holiday when they were doing the prize-giving

Well done. Always good to get a trophy. Fortunately we get them on presentation night and no speech required.
