first 80

I shot an 80 from the boxes (par 69) last night, most things clicked. I think this is my lowest ever round.
I had 3 birdies including 2 back to back, I then double bogeyed the next losing a ball from the tee.
Hoping it comes together again tomorrow, I have been disappionted with my irons of late (thinning a lot of them) but hit a lot of clean ones last night.

Good stuff. Get into those competitions and start cleaning up. Try not to force it tomorrow as you swing differently each day. Play within yourself and don't get too frustrated if you can't replicate it. Its the same for all of us or we'd all be out there playing the tour.
