Cheers everyone. Driving not great but recovery shots good and was pleased with little chips to the greens. Club variety. Loads of goals left!

I had just one goal for 2017 - to break 80.
Shot 79 on 10th Jan, so I will spend the rest of the year struggling to repeat the feat.

(In hindsight that round was another milestone - first ever double-bogie free round).

I was only 2 shots of another goal, which is to break 90 - but I do have to do that 5 times over the season, so it would have been 1/5! I also have to break 85 twice!

Played four winter comps since Jan 7th, Won 2, came 4th and 2nd in the others, not a bad start to the golfing year
