Firm left side??

i have no clue about this but just had a nosey in your golf bag. i like the way you have it set up. ordered that mizuno club. it makes a great sound and i hit it well. will be dropping my 3 wood and current hybrid and possibly stick in another wedge.

One tip that I was given for the 'firm left side' was to pretend my left side was up against a wall and that was the 'shape' / feeling you were trying to hit against.

I've also seen people on practice ranges using some of those alignment sticks pushed into the ground vertically, with their left leg up against them. Again, think it helps to keep that left side solid.

I always looked on this as a great drill for keep the left side firm.......

The pro at Lamberhurst used to get me doing this with a greenkeepers old tractor tyre (the smaller front one with the wheel removed!). Really does give you a good feeling of keeping the left side firm and where you should be at impact. Shame I don't practice it now!
