Firefox crashing

Hello, when loading a thread my browser keeps freezing and having to force quit it. It's Firefox on Macbook Air. Any ideas?

are you also using google as a search engine - now google has chrome seems the story goin around is that google is applying some operational pressure on firefox - which to date any updates haven't really solved

try watching a youtube 'live' on firefox & it is now freezing & buffering really bad - playing youtube vids sometimes an issue too

on a mac now - but make sure it's the latest release of - safari certainly when watching lives on youtube does not tend to freeze or buffer - I have had no problems with safari & this forum website on my macbook pro or imac or ipad pro
or opera seems to work pretty well on a mac too

chrome on a mac not really a good idea though

I run Firefox on my desktop, and that freezes as well when there are some embeded flash player/video content that I cannot stop.

It also froze on a few occasions when using gmail so ive switched back to Chrome to see if this is any better.

I ditched Firefox and no use Opera on my tablet and desktop with no issues.
