So, when do you finish for Christmas and when are you back to work?
Me, finished last friday, back to work 4th Jan.😃

I am on a job and finish 'contract' so although I'll be going in three days this week I don't expect to be attending more than a couple of hours... Only feature we are working on, currently, finished shooting yesterday so don't expect much other work this week... Good time to catch up on the tidy up of my workspace I've been promising to do for the last 6 months... Back on the 4th to start my last 7 months ...

Unless, of course, I bottle it [again] and agree to do another year :(....

Working until Xmas Eve then back in 30th , nights New Years Day

With the inverted commas also one assumes?!

"Definitely!"

Last management meeting of the year at 2pm on a conference call. Other than that, looking after a poorly wife. 10 days of abdominal pain led to a ruptured appendix on Tuesday, emergency surgery on Wednesday, arrived home yesterday - all in time for Christmas!

Lucky you mate, 2 shifts left for me then back on the 4th.

Sorry to hear that, hope she gets well soon.

Oh, just the usual then ;)

I was out with boys from the REA on Saturday for a few jars, one of them set up our local Veterans Breakfast Club so 17 of us met for lunch and relived stories from 20 years ago  Great day. I think a dozen or so will be coming down for Armed Forces Day at Cleethorpes this year.

Do you do anything REA or otherwise over your way?

Know a few of them through my Legion work, got a really decent club in Sunderland😃

One, if not the only negative being retired, not getting the end of term buzz of a Bank Holiday coming up.
Best Wishes to all you "workers", be patient your time will come.

Last day is Christmas Eve. Off until 5th Jan. Would work in between if I could but they shut the office nowadays. Have always worked on the principle that every days leave I take in Winter is a day I could be on the golf course in summer.
