Third Summer medal at the club yesterday, and I finally got under 100 in a competition!
Shot a 98 which gave me a net 73 (4 over) which put me fourth in my division, although I think I was only kept out of third place on a count back.
Easily my best performance in a comp, and although it won't see a handicap reduction I was still very pleased. Looking back there were a few shots that I should have done better with (two lost balls for starters) a few putts that on a different day might have dropped etc but it's a confidence booster for the rest of the season and given me genuine belief that I MIT be able to get this handicap down this year
