Finally, after all these years....

Good one.

Seen three, all as it happens good shots !

Had three myself. all, good shots, one an albatross.

Never thought of it until now but I think I have only witnessed one. An outrageously flukey thinned mid iron from a beginner I was teaching, never more than a foot off the ground hit a couple of banks and bunkers and trickled into the hole.

Still time Ray, remember Richard Branston's grannie getting one in her 90's.

Only seen two - both the ones I have had this year

Great feeling and chuffed for your pp and glad to see you are back enjoying the game

I saw Gary Player get one during a par 3 demonstration at the London Club at Zgolf Live a couple of years ago

youtubes full of 'em.

had one, last century;)

witnessed an 11 yr old boy ace the 220yd 17th at Gleneagles:cool:

p.s Is that the same Ray Taylor from the delewar area

I saw my mother get a hole-in-one, where she thinned the ball on a downhill par-3 and it ran all along the ground, across the green and into the hole. My one and only hole-in-one was a slight mishit, not off the middle of the club face, but at least it got airborne and went in the right direction. I didn't see it go into the hole as it was in a slight dip. I hope to make another one with a perfect connection where I see the ball going into the hole before I die! :mmm:
