Evening all

Played a society day today at the weald of kent and finally (for the first time since june) it came together.

My driver wasn't working today but apart from a quadruple bogey on one hole I played really well.

Shot a gross 86, par 70 SSS 68..... 41 points.

Happy bunny tonight!

Forgotten what the feeling is like. Can string 15 good holes together but chuck in three holes of rubbish to ruin it all. At the moment its 15 holes of crud and 3 good ones. I can guess which version is coming out to play at Woburn

Could someone who isn't a numpty (ie not me) tell me if I'd be due a cut based on my score yesterday? (if it were qualifying).

My handicap 21.1
Gross Score 86
Par 70
SSS 68

By my (limited) knowledge that would fall into the buffer and no change would be due?

What stroke index did you had the quadruple on?

Your score of 41pts would give you a 0.9 cut if I've got my category boundaries correct!

EDIT: Scratch mine - Louise is correct. I always think cat 3 upper boundary is 21 for some reason!

if you scored 41 points and SSS is 2 less than par then had it been a qualifier with CSS the same as SSS you would be -3, so that would be 2 x 0.4 to take you to 20.3 then another 0.3 to take you down to 20.0

It was SI 2.
The your handicap reduction would have been what Louise quoted. Well done :) great round now go and do that score in a qualifier and start getting that handicap down.

Then with rounding the 86 (inc quad) becomes 85 nett 64 so would be minus another 0.3?

Edit oops numpty no rounding on SI2 so its as posted. Doh for me!
