Got a new camera for my birthday and it takes pretty good quality films too.

So, took it to the course yesterday and filmed a few of my shots. Got home and downloaded to my PC and was able to view my swing in slow motion. Wow, this has just opened my eyes to what my swing actually looks like and where I might be going wrong. Also filmed my playing partner (off 4) and his swing was smooth and easy compared to mine.

Anyone with a suitable camera should try this.

Have done this a few times, you can download cswing on trial basis and see correct angles, head movement etc and compare to pro swings. I have picked out a few flaws with my swing - too long a backswing, folding left arm etc, it's a very useful tool.
Careful you dont over analyse though, keeping it simple is the key.

Have tried videoing my swing. Frightening. I look like I am staring into a very deep hole, trying to guess how deep it is.
To be honest, apart from poor posture, poor alignment, a strong grip, the wrong swing plane, lifting my head up and strimmer like tempo, theres not a lot wrong with my swing.
