Figuring out this game

I have a handicap of 4. Last year I played a fair amount and was so up and down as is normal. Now since October I have had about 6/7 knocks and played too or under each time, I don't quite understand how less practice and course time can mean more consistency???

I'm nowhere near your level (averaging 87-90) but I'm the same. After a week off I seem to come back better than when I play 3 times a week.

On on the weekend my driving was the best it's been in ages, Tuesday and today it was rubbish 😵🔫

Last Thursday I played a scratch KO and went round in around 15 over and had my butt kicked.

Played the very next day in a team competition and was 2 under. This really is a stupid game at times.
