Hi all,
I am new to this forum and this is my first post.

My club are putting the fee's up next year by £40. I don't think this is excessive and we are still good value for money. Various factors have been mentioned such as fertilizer and seed prices etc. I will be paying £460 for the year. Anyone else in the same position.

Duff, where are you playing? My ESP tells me somewhere in the centrasl belt of Scotland ;) . I think £500 is about average to be honest. If you can afford it then your onto a winner.

Wecome to the forum by the way.

Depends on the quality of the club and course, but assuming it has a decent track it is a good price to pay.

Mine went up about a tenner I think to £425 which for me is unbelievable value at a top quality course that is fully playable year round. would say that it works out at a couple of quid a game for me,if they charged me £600 I wouldn't complain!

Hi there,

I think it is a reasonable price to pay. I am lucky enough to live in Kent, but it is the presumption that everyone has money and the club fees are set with this in mind. However, I live in the Medway towns and even my local club charges over £800, although it is a good course.

Then there's the London course near Brands Hatch. I can either live in my house and poay the mortgage or join the club - can't do both!!!!

Happy holidays :)
