Tour Winner
Went for a knock this evening after my tea. Managed 14 holes before dusk set in.
Overall very encouraging. Some good drives from the tee. Fairly accurate iron striking although I did under club on a couple of shots to the green.
Biggest positive was that out of the 14 holes I never 3 putted once.
I've struggled with my putting for ages and tonight I was stroking the ball beautifully.
My driving became a bit erratic from the 11th onwards, mainly slicing, but none too bad although I did miss the fairway on most of the latter drives.
Got a comp on Saturday so taking the positives from my session this evening as a good measure to go forward with.
Hoping to get a couple of practise sessions in before Saturday. Hoping to break the ton again come competition day. Last medal bit me and brought me back down to earth (108)
