FC Barcelona Transfer Ban.

Barc'a have been banned from making transfers until Summer 2015 over transfers involving under 18's. This could have a major effect on European Football with Real and Atletico already making huge inroads to being bigger/better teams than the Catalan Giants.

It's only one summer and they have a good enough squad already.

Wonder if it includes loans.

As Paddy says they have a few reaching the end of their careers i.e. Valdes. They will have Pinto but he's getting on and is not really good enough to be barca number 1.

They will get around it somehow. Like Phil said does that include loan deals? If not then all they have to do is loan a player with an option to buy in 2015 for a pre agreed fee. The team that they have could do another season and not do too bad I think.

Could give them a headache in goal as Valdes was off at end of season out of contract I believe, although that was before his injury last week suspect there could be a healthy wage rise to stay 1 more year now.

That's also dashes any hope of Messi coming to join the rejuvenation and uprising have to be Cristanio then .... :rofl:

They should have, apparently they have signed 10 u18's contrary to the rules.
Cheating dirty dealing sods in the transfer market and have been for ages. Bit of a turn up to see them finally pulled up for it.

Ditto most English and Scottish professional clubs.

Too much money involved for it to be clean. Too many shady corperations and megarich individuals who don't care about the game or the clubs. Just the money.

I have come to detest most of what goes on in the modern game and have gone from a 'fever pitch' type of obsessed fan to a casual football on TV observer. (until we sneak through the group in the world cup) Where's is my wig and face paint?
