What's yours?

I've just had a couple of slices of bread and jam with a glass of milk. Maybe there's some subconscious thing going back to the early 60's and a very young Hobbit, but it is one of my favourites... almost comfort food.

Bit early for supper :)

I can get this as being a favourite - mind you not one we were ever allowed as it was bread and butter or jam - but not both. Rather 'budget limited' we were back in the 60s. Just a soft 'heel' from a newly unwrapped plain loaf (pan loaf? - no thanks) with a nice spreading of butter.

3 Boiled eggs on toast, bit tomato sauce, cup of tea.

Reminded me of another favourite. A soft boiled egg and a slice of bread and butter cut into small squares, all mashed up in a cup...

Chuckyegg!! Haven't had that since I was a kid! It's in me head now, maybe tomorrow nights tea sorted. :whoo:

That sounds like breakfast to me, although red sauce is for what the Americans call backsides :D
I don't remember having supper since I was a kid, back then it would have maybe been some toast "with proper butter not marge" and a cup of hot chocolate.
Tastes so much better in the evening, don't ask me why though. 😃

I spent well over 100 euros on saucisson and cheese when I was in France over Xmas so my supper snack at the minute is cheese and biscuits with saucisson on the side.
