Favourite Shot Distance

I am sure you all have one, was interested to see what type of shot people like playing or what distance.

Mine (currently) is 125 yards full 50 degree.

What are your layups!?

But seriously, I probably get the most joy out of a really well hit 8 iron. 130-140 yards ish. It's got the potential to be deadly... If i could just hit it like that all the time!

PW at 100yds or 9 iron at 110-115yds. They are in my comfort zone.

I quite like being a full nine iron away, which is around 130-135 yards for me. Or maybe 140-150 with an 8 iron. That sort of range is my favourite to hit anyway. I'm still crap at them like everything else, but they're my favourite to hit.

70 - 90 yards with a controlled 50* wedge, always looking to get down in 2 from that sort of distance............

Atm I am enjoying a good run with the 5 wood. 190 or so back. I don't always end on the green. But have been there or thereabouts recently and the confidence it's given knowing I can go for greens is good.

If we're talking looking to get down in one more. I'd say little chips around the green are fun for me. Whether it's a chip and run/check or trying a flop. It's fun to be creative.

I like a 220 yard carry shot that needs 15-20 yards of draw. I seem to nail that shot more than any other. Doesn't even matter if there's water infront.

Close as possible, I love everything 140 and in.

I lovd practising 70-40 yard pitches, spent hours doing that.

Main reason my home club is a par 3 course I guess
