Favourite Make of Equipment?

What is your favourite make of golf gear clubs and apparel.

Medway jon need not bother answering this thread as we know he favours slazenger.

Hybrid - Cobra
Clothing - Glenmuir Jumpers, callaway, adidas shirts , stromberg trousers
Shoes - footjoy

Balls - titleist

Clubs - Cobra although mizuno wedge and would only ever have an odyssey putter.
Clothes - Ian Poulter Design, whatever else I think looks ok and is comfortable.
Shoes - Footjoy (with stinger spikes)
Balls - Titleist NXT Tours.
Hats - Whatever I ponce for free!!!
Gloves - Footjoy.

I like Slazenger too.

Wouldn't know what apparel was....more interested in my game than my wardrobe.

As for Clubs, well, I've played with Callaway woods for years and always liked them. I've had 1/2 a dozen probably. I like Taylor Made too, currently have a 3 wood (R5 Ti dual), completely unmatched to my Callaway 1,5,(9) and it's amazing. Also had a burner or two.

Irons - only ever played Mizuno (3 sets) and Tommy Armour (2 sets - which won't mean much to most folk). I have a selection of Mizuno and Callaway wedges, a ping putter, an odyssey (old skool) putter.

That's it....never been anywhere near the other big makes but rate Titleist (all).

My favourite irons are Titleist and Mizuno.
Drivers would be Cobra or ping.
Wedges have to be Vokeys or the new cleveland zipgroove.
Putters I like traditional putters, i like the titleist ones and the new Mizuno bettinardi range look tastier than a packet of hobnobs. I cant stand putters that look like they were designed to orbit jupiter in the year 2098!
Balls have to be NXT tours
Shoes- Nike or Footjoys

and General clothing-what ever is in the Debenhams blue cross Sale!

Only place i have seen titleist clothes is in golf footage from 20 years ago they made some well nice golf shirts.

I forgot you had those irons andy, git! I am jealous now.

I really want them but wouldn't do them justice at the moment. Enjoy every shot, they are a fine looking iron and when I hit them, the couple that were perfect strikes felt like nothing else I have ever experienced with an iron in my hand.

I currently use Nicklaus clubs, always liked them.
i think they get ignored cause unlike "the big company's" Nicklaus don't pay golfers to use there clubs so they get no impression of being good clubs.

Having said that when i go next year to get fitted for clubs i will switch to what ever is recommended.

I'm a ping guy. anything with ping on it I have to have it. sad I know but I just like the Ping gear

All my clubs are Ping apart from my scotty cameron putter.

Ping jumpers, shirts and trousers.

Oh and a few Ping hats and caps.......

I think because my Dad has always used Ping clubs, I see them as an 'old mans' club. It is the only reason I can put on something so irrational. Silly I know, but....

Fair enough, but from somebody who has had maxfli,ping, cleveland,taylor made, mizuno, cobra, callaway and back to ping irons I can honestly say ping are (for me!) the best by far, for customer service and and custom fitting they are top of the tree in my opinion!

Try your old mans irons you may be secretly impressed!
