After Hovis's fools & horses thread it got me thinking who my favourite comedy characters are.
My top 3 are
1:Alan Partridge
2:Del Boy
3:David Brent

Ermmmm off the top of my head...

Karl Pilkington and if I can include Gervais and Merchant with him
Alan Partridge

There are many more like Victor Meldrew and co but they are my favourite.

Sorry DAVEYBOY but I'm not Giving you Pilkington as he's a real person. Although he is comedy gold.
If you haven't heard the: Ricky Gervais-Guide to.....
They're a must. Can get them on iTunes. Worth every penny.

Oh mate believe me I've heard them... I have every pod cast they have ever done and every radio show they did on XFM together from the first time Karl ever talked, I listen to them almost every day at work

Pahahaha so who would you take to start a new world?? Paul Danan?? Jamie Oliver?? Or Abi Titmus
KP Plumbing:rofl:

Have you ever heard his rock busters competition he did on XFM? Gervais gets so annoyed  Some weeks he forgot the answers to his own quiz

Tony Hancock

I watched "the blood doner" on utube a few days ago, black and white tv but like " the parrot sketch" I could remember it almost word for word - not bad for a 1960's comedy!
