What was the club that was working best for you today?

Mine was my 3 iron, it was my go to club today for everything, seemed to find the fairway almost every time today, pity it took me 6 holes to realise the driver wasn't working for me today!!!

3 wood. Driver went on the naughty step on the third. 3 wood went well off the tee even in the strong wind.

Just thinking back through my round today and I don't remember using my 5 iron, so that would be far and away my best club today.

7 iron for me and closely followed by my 3 wood.

I didn't play today but I don't tend to have a club that performs better than any other on a given day. I either hit them all good or all bad

23 degree hybrid for me. Just seems like an extension to my body at the moment.
It's the only club in the bag I'm confident enough with to try and shape shots with. Might as well not carry any long irons as it's my go to club.

There have been 3 strong performers over the weekend, my driver (since the change to the Mizuno my driving is far more consistant), 5 Benross 5 wood (takes up the slack for long shots off the fairway when my 3 wood is on the naughty step) and my ever faithful G10 24 degree hybrid (this never seems to have a bad day).

I think my spare set of clubs in the garage were pretty hot today. And the putter I keep in the wardrobe.
The ones I had on the course were having a shocker.

Had to be my driver today hit prety much every fairway and my slice had calmed down to a fade so was easy to aim at left of fairway and find it sitting plum in the middle of fairway. Was only the second time ive used this particular driver (yonex nanospeed) so was all the more satisfying

Hit the range this morning and they were all behaving themselves beautifully and were going great. Played a few holes tonight and they were all as useful as the Arsenal back 4

52 and 58 wedges which is a shocker for me as they are normally my worst.

Off the tee and turf it didn't let me down the whole round.

That and my putter were both very hot today.

my 52* wedge! played some great shots from just under 100 yds.was really pleased with both distance and accuracy everytime i pulled it out my bag.second is my 8 iron, love shots from 150yds onto the green. 150 or 80 yds are my lay up distances

I wouldn't say she was a complete star, but my putter deffo worked her way into my affections again. Lipped out a few long ones, and left most lags dead.

We are now back on talking terms....

Driver was this weekends beauty, long AND straight .. only missed 2 fairways & 1 of them was our 18 its an easy dog leg , I ran through to far side .. felt like throwing my wedges as far as i was driving it tho .. killed my score with bad chipping .. mayb il buy a chipper

Well it definitely wasn't hawkeyes putter as he had 5 that lipped out today including one that went into the back of the hole deadweight and still horeshoed out!!!! I didn't hit anything consistantly today so the answer would be none of them - tomorrow though may be a different story
