Halloween is approaching (my fave time of the year because I'm a big kid and I like sweets). I mean, I really like horror films. I've seen hundreds. I'm always on the look out for others to watch. I'm signed up to see all the different regions of Netflix so I hop on and off them all and there's always something else to watch.

What's the one horror movie that made you turn the light on at night or check the door was locked? What genre makes you think twice as the sun sets?

For me recently it's Sinister. I've seen it about 4 times now and every-time I see it, it gets a little more creepy. I can't handle home invasion movies, or anything with Werewolves. Odd but hey ho :)

Sam as patrick, not true horror. I like the gory things like Hostel or Saw etc, but horror does nothing for me.

More of a Sci-Fi man myself, but I do like a decent horror. I always liked Hellraiser and Nightmare on Elm Street when they first came out. The Thing (original) is excellent.

Don't find any of the horror movies "scary" as such but did jump like hell watching Poltergeist

My first wedding video. Still scares the crp out of me every time I even think about it

I used to love the old zombie films (Dawn of the Dead etc) but they are naff when you watch them now, to me anyway. The Walking Dead is about as good as it gets these days for scare factor as modern horror films don't seem to cut the mustard like they once did.

Blair Witch was proper cacky pants time as was Rec (original version of course) but I can't think of any other recent film which are up there in the fright stakes, maybe The Ring at a push.
