We've got a few days booked in August so I have been looking about for somewhere to go and get a couple of games in. I was listening to Rad 4 yesterday and SIR Ken Dodd was on. So out of curiosity I checked his website for tour dates, yes he still tours! He's on in Llandudno in August when we have dates booked. Hotel has been booked and ticket purchased. Just got the golf to sort now.

Doddy is brilliantly funny but be ready for a long night. The stories of him going on until the early hours are true. The show could finish from any time between 10.30 - 1am. One thing though, you will not be bored or disappointed.

How little you know. He may finish at 11 but stay relaxed if the clock keeps going round and he is still on stage. One of the gags he sometimes does is after the half time interval he will come on with a sandwich box and a flask. He puts them down, turns to the crowd and makes a comment about being prepared for a long night.

A comic legend and be prepared to be in pain the day after with all the laughing. Proper deep belly laughs. He's like a machine gun when he gets in full flow and totally brilliant. Early night when we saw him and we left at 12.35am

So we need an early tea then? And best make it a good feed up!

Conwy is the course to play out of the 3 quoted. Not sure where you are staying but Conwy is after Llandudno!

Another course on the way better than the 2 you quote is Prestatyn.

In Llandudno Maesdu is worth a visit

North Wales GC and Conwy, I'd give Maesdu a swerve. Bull bay is supposed to be nice but that's on anglessey.
