I will be leaving home about 7.30 to get down there in time for my bacon roll and cup of coffee. I was going to give the pro shop a call before I left home just to make sure there is no serious frost affecting the course.
We've had two really mild mornings up here this week, this morning I woke up and the bloody car doors were almost frozen shut!
I was a bit worried earlier because there wasn't a cloud in the sky and it looked like we were on for another freezing night but it has started to cloud up now so hopefully we will be OK.
Really looking forward to it Jon.
Just got to change my soft spikes for the new "Stingers" which turned up today and will be playing Tiger Woods on the 360 tonight to get the swing thought going!!

I use stingers myself rob and they are ace.

Been enjoying a bit of tigger myself on the PS3.

You will enjoy the breakfast down there, it is tip-top!

It's a first real links golf for me HTL.

Well.. possibly 2nd. I played the Fistral Beach course (now Newquay Golf Club) in 1996 while having a long weekend at the hotel there. I suppose it is a type of links course. Anyway, for those who don't know it, the hotel pool is within range of a leftie's slice, helped by the prevailing wind, off the 1st tee.

I recovered my first two tee shots from the pool later in the day.....
