hope everyone had a good weekend.

For those that play Fantasy Football, does anyone have any tips?

I am getting killed this year so keen to share ideas with anyone that is willing to help a brother in need.

Thanks,
Lewis

My method is to go big on some players and try to be smart on others, so balancing the books. For example, in my team I have Sanchez up front, De Bruyne and Silva in midfield. De Bruyne and Silva get stacks of assists as well as scoring goals so I get a double whammy there. Sanchez is a consistent scorer. The balance is then to get some defenders from less glamorous teams who are pretty mean in defence. I have a defender from West Brom and Watford. Watford let me down this weekend but prior to that they have been pretty mean and defenders there are unknown and cheap.

Try to get a defender eg Coleman at Everton who puts crosses in for assists as well as being part of a mean defence, this weekend excluded. Centre halfs who pick up goals at corners.

All said and done, you then have to cross your fingers and hope for the best. Never bet money on your fantasy team, just have fun with it.

What is your team? Post it up so we can see what you have.

I'd say your team looks pretty good. Stick with it for a few weeks (barring injuries) and see how you get on. Have you chopped and changed a lot?

Assuming you saw the right team (Henderson, not Masten).
I've made some changes each week and have used my wildcard. Didn't have Aguero when he banged in 5 (ouch!). Didn't really have anyone good this week.

should I stick with Hazard or shift him out now?

I stuck with him for quite a few weeks, but he's been awful. I'd get rid, and try and get Sanchez in. He's probably the only player in your team I'd be looking to bin. For the money he's not delivered this season at all.

Also, get Jamie Vardy in, he's gun.

My daughter has a team in the Daily Mail Fantasy Football League. 180,000 plus teams in it and she is currently 1220. She gets a bit of help from her Dad sometimes, but having watched Reading for 13 years she obviously knows her football.
