The ferrule on my Callaway XR 3 deep fairway has slipped a little down the shaft. I've tried heating with a kettle but it won't budge! Any other tips? It's not moved much but a little annoying!

A very gentle tap with a piece of soft wood usually does the trick.

Hair dryer warm it up but don't hit it to hard when it's soft

sorry warm it up with hair dryer and the best thing to use is the rubber vice clamp that is used for regriping it has a champhered end this won't damage the ferrule.

All sorted. Srixon 1 came up with the answer. I taped the shaft to avoid scratch and then a very little tap put it back in place. Weird as would budge by hand! Cheers!
