Hi

Please can you give, a newbie to the game of golf, some advice?

I have a RBZ Stage 2 3 Wood HL (HL because if thought would be easier to master off the deck than a Std 15 Deg), and a RBZ Stage 2 No 4 Hybrid 22 Deg.

I also have a R7 5 Wood 18 deg and R7 7 Wood 21 Deg, that could I trade in or a friend has said he would be interested in buying them both.

I am tempted because I was thinking of adding, either a Tour RBZ No 3 Hybrid or a Standard RBZ Stage 2 No 3 Hybrid 22 Deg to replace the 5 Wood, to the bag this is because I found the 22 Hybrid easier to hit than the 5 Wood

Does my this make sense, any advice welcome.

Andy

Do you find you have a distance gap for 18 deg 5 wood, 17deg HL 3 wood and 22 4h (adjustable tour version) maybe you could just dump the 5 wood?

Don't trade them in as you would probably only get £20 for the pair. Do you hit your 3 wood ok ? I'm guessing no as you struggle with the 5 wood which in most cases would be the the easier club to use. I had the tour tm hybrid a while bag and found it so hard to use that I got rid of it so I would deffiently go for just a standerd hybrid but which one ? Who knows.

Get yourself down a golf retailer and just try everything in you price range and take what ever fits your game but the rbz stage 2 is a great club and I love mine also there only £89 on www.clubhousegolf.co.uk

Good luck

Guys

Thanks for the advice, please keep it coming!

Firstly, yes I do struggle with the 3 wood off the Tee and and the deck, more so that the R1 driver off the Tee which puzzles the hell out of me!

To be honest asking me about club gaps, whilst is a great question, but the moment is difficult for me to answer cause my swing is not consistent enough despite but the I am hoping the current lessons will help.

Also because being a little older and and a couple of football injuries I am not the most flexible in my back swing so I suffer with distance a bit, to the fairway clubs get used more than they should at the moment, hence the Hybrid in my bag as this is a little shorter than the other fairways, and I feel more positive when swinging with it. I don't have the budget for a latest version of clubs so maybe I'll try and 4 hybrid at AG and see how it feels compared to 5 wood!

Thanks

Andy

If your new to the game then don't even bother trying to hit a 3w off the deck. It'll cost you more shots than it'll save you.

Before you buy or sell your gear, Spend £30 on a lesson you'd be surprised how it will help.

Good luck
