Just checking the Guide there for the golf....As i still wont get in Sky sports i hoped that BBC might be covering some and true to form they have round 3 and 4....Saturday and Sunday coverage on BBC2.....:clap::clap::clap::thup:

Have to admit the remote will be switching to the Beeb as I find the adverts on Sky just get tiresome. Phew I am watching US Golf, blimey its still the Masters, and especially for some reason the Rolex sponsorship tune just grates.

Just as long as Michael Vaughan has been left behind.
Someone above said about an ex Footballer at the helm on the Beeb, but I thought the boy Line-acre had lost the gig a few years back.

This :) Much rather watch on the channel that invests in golf week after week!

I love the golf on Sky, expecially shot centre but their 'investment' comes at a price doesn't it.

Beeb for me generally as no ads but I'd have Kirsty Gallagher over Michael Vaughan any day!

I subscribed to the Sky Sports app (£4.99 for the month) and watched the par 3 coverage on the Ipad. I've never had Sky Sports before, it's clear that they've spent a lot of money on the presentation team given the personalities working last night. I will however switch to the BBC for Saturday and Sunday so I can watch on a bigger screen (in HD) and also to avoid the constant and repetitive advert breaks.

I'll be watching it on sky, in 3D :D :D:D:D:D

2D really doesn't do the course justice. You really start to get an appreciation of the slopes they are dealing with on the fairways and greens.

Watched it last year in 3D and it just blew me away.

No amount of technology can beat 'Ken on the Course', chasing after his golf balls that he has hit to hard, running around with tennis rackets! Just perfect.

Both have their negatives, Monty is awful but i also cannot stand Peter Allis. A traditionalist, i accept that but if he had his way they would all be out there using hickry clubs!

I will flip between the two i expect, both will show Tiger winning i expect :)

I must be the only person that doesn't mind the adverts. Gives me a chance to make a brew, nip for a nature break etc. It's a small price to pay for superior coverage. You don't actually miss any of the golf either.

So jealous! If I didn't have a wedding and honeymoon to pay for, a 3D TV would be top of my shopping list for this very reason!

I've heard the masters in 3D is awesome so I'm very jealous. No 3D for me though, not even HD but at least I have Sky and if I fancy a bit better quality, I'll just put my glasses on :D

I wanted to get it first year they showed it in 3D but got vetoed by the other half. Then after Masters had finished the other half found out they were showing Wimbledon in 3D. So all of a sudden we needed it. :ooo:

:D I'd probably have to wait until Sky started showing the Netball Superleague in 3D :(
