Face of Benross voting...

Evening everyone

Those of you on Twitter will have noted that I'm hard on the campaign trail tonight. To make the next round I think we'll need at least 500 votes and myself and tigertot are off that mark. Unfortunately I have no idea what number Vinesh is on at the moment!

A massive thank you to those of you have voted so far I really appreciate your support :thup:

My pledge to you is that if by some miracle I win this I will give you all as much information and insight as I can on a fabulous golf brand that are focused exclusively on club golfers like you and me. Hi guys, to be honest you're probably fed up of this now so this will be my last post to promote this till the vote closes.

I think Vinesh may well get there but I'm afraid I'm going backwards. Though there are just 40 votes separating 3rd from 7th I'm in 7th and have pretty much exhausted all of my channels. As you know the top 5 make it through to the final round.

I have a feeling there will be another surge this weekend, which may end any chance I have but if you have the time to give your vote I'd be really grateful. If you've already voted but can encourage others in your household to do the same that would be amazing.

it's turning it into a social media voting farce though as opposed to whom Benross think would be a good representative for their product.
Yes I know that increases Benross' exposure but sometimes it could have a negative effect especially for a Brand positioned where they are.

I put my name down because I believe on the first tee it would be a feeling I might
never get.
To play in a comp that's gets the nerves racing.
As you say above its been turned into a social exposure fest.

Agree with CMAC. Popularity contest rather than the company/brand making a decision for themselves. Still, at least Tiger, Vinesh and Andrew have stopped short of embarrassing themselves publicly by singing like a mangled cat on live tv.

They've managed to use Google insight to identify the erroneous votes and sent us through an update on volumes last night. So the votes for Vinesh and James on the Benross site are inaccurate yesterday they had 442 and 435 I think

This is the leaderboard at 5pm on Thurs 26th. As you can see there are 5 people having to fight out for 3 slots. It does seem to change every couple of hours as there are some odd spikes here and there.. It does have more twist & turns than Broadchurch..


So call to arms for forumites... Do get voting and get the formers into the FaceOff. I have seen a few names already - Rooter, Fish, LiBird, Imurg etc etc.. (thanks guys, but we could do with more). Given the voting patterns,I think we need to get closer to 550-600 is par for the course.

some of the candidates profiles even contain advertisements on buying likes off the internet!
Last time I dressed like a cat was for my 50th birthday when I went to Welford Road Leicester the home of the Leicester Tigers Rugby for a day of free beer and hospitality.
Full Tiger suit.Tail got trapped in the train door as I tried to back back home p=@sed.
I also want to retain my dignity but could be persuaded to change profile picture in return for votes.
