Not come across that form mate - but then my time on a line or in a sqn was limited and certainly nowhere near any A/C ?
Ha

It’s basically the form you fill in when you lose or damage some MOD kit.

So the gits can recoup the cost and take the money out of your salary on a monthly basis.

mate of mine was basically chased through his whole career for a c126 owning on a set of crappy Polaroid binoculars, that he lost over the ships side ?

Cheeky gits wanted about £1200 for a set of binos that you could buy at an army navy store for about 80 quid ??

To the best of my knowledge he escaped the bill when he became a civvy ha

I’d dread to think what the RN would be charging that poor WAFU for the damage to that f35. Ouch

Ah those things

Thankfully never really had to deal with them - apart from when we lost anything signed out from stores.

Wonder what the bill would have been for the baby officer that fecked up a satellite all those years ago ?

The purchase price of aircraft can be determined in many ways. If you already purchased the training, spares, specialist tooling etc, then the cost of a replacement airframe is around $78 million.

Military Forums are reporting that the pilot is ok - thanks to Martin Baker. I believe that’s the forth ejection from F35s.

The jet, I believe, had not been handed over to the purchaser and was still under ownership by Lockheed Martin.

doubt it will be accepted now in its current condition!

That happened all the time in Fords.
Delivery driver used to just take it to the ding and dent shop.

Having worked on the F35 program in a past life, I can concur the cost for that will be astronomical.

a damaged rear tail skin was brought back to us once and even that was Eye-watering!
