At home I've an old Yes putter that I'm not using

A friend is interested in the putter but its only 32 inches long, he uses 34"

How easy is it to extend shaft?

Any negatives with trying to lengthen a shaft?

Had my putter lengthend last month with no problem, Took it to my club pro he put a 2 inch extention piece in and a new grip
and its fantastic. If he's any good he will be able to save your original grip and putt it back on. (see what I did there lol)

Not sure on this but will the weight be affected. I know in the Scotty Cameron's a 35" has 2X10g weights a 34" has 2X15g weights and 33" has 2X20g weights. I know they also make a 25g weight but have never seen a 32" putter in the shops here.

So it looked to me for each extra 1" of length there was 10g total weight less in the blade.
