Gets dark around our place about 8ish, 90 mins for 9 holes should see you about right. Thinking of leaving my clubs in my locker this weekend and popping up after work and having a quick 9 mid week.

On the note of light night golf and a quick nine holes, just been looking at the Titleist X90 pencil bag to leave at the club for range outtings and a quick nine.

I've been out for a few holes after work a couple of times this week. Monday i managed 5 holes playing 2 balls. Started at about 7.20-7.30 and was finished at 8.30 - albeit it was almost black dark trying to putt out on the final green.

Last night i managed 9 holes starting at 6.35 and finishing at 8.15. I felt as though i could easily have got another couple in before it got too dark.

If the course is clear, and it probably will be at that time, you can easily do 18 holes in 2 hours.

I teed off @ 5pm on Monday and played 2 balls on every hole and still got in before 8pm.

If you do play 2 balls try not to pull/hook 1st drive then push/cut 2nd ball. The walk between the 2 is a bugger!! :D :D

I hate that when it happens, you play a crap slice of a drive in the rough and play a prov and it ends up the other side of the fairway  :shakefist:

teeing off at 0630 tomorrow :scared:

I've been twice this week for a knock around. Tuesday, I played the back nine, played the best 9 holes of my short golfing life, shooting 40. (4,5,5,4,4,4,5,5,4) I started at about 6.30, finished 8.10, still enough light for 20 mins chipping practice.

Full with enthusiasm, I returned last night to tackle the front nine. After scoring 7,8,5,5,6, 6, on the first 6 holes, I spat my dummy out, made my way back to the car park, put my clubs away and a had a nice cold pint in the clubhouse and contemplated how on earth I scored 5 on two par3's ?!?!?!

I've got to pop in to work tomorrow, but will be home by 3pm, plenty of time to play 18.

I'm praying for a good run of dry weather this year.

I can get round 18 at mine in just over 2 hours and that's not rushing. Normal shot routines etc.

So if I'm away at 6 its no bother.
