Surely, if we voted to leave the EU, that must also count as getting out of Eurovision as well?
If not why not?

I think we should have a referendum to leave Eurovision then!because were still in Europe?
What socket and SLH, take it over and bicker for 400 pages?
Hope to god that's the case, cannot believe that Farage never suggested that it would of been 60/40% to leave then.Surely, if we voted to leave the EU, that must also count as getting out of Eurovision as well?

If we leave Eurovision, wee Krankie will demand Scotland has its own entry each year and the rest of Europe will be siubjected to the Proclaimers ....... DO IT!!!!
.A school in Scotland wrote the Rumanian entry....so we could have a chance this year.
You can't argue with the UK viewing figures so suck it up you social snobs.
I do not watch it but recognise that it is very popular.
I think the UK could win if they send Adele, Robbie Williams or resurrect the Spice Girls. They have a pull all over Europe and the world. We'll never win it again regardless of who sings and the quality of the song. The voting system is more rigged than Fifa

Otherwise I don't think so. If you are from Eastern Europe or Scandinavia or from the Mediterranean countries you get to like a certain kind of music, which is played in your country, and the ones around you. That's what you vote for. I don't think the voting is that political, it's just that the UK is geographically fairly isolated, so the music selected for competition here is not spread out that much into other european countries.
There is the music that pulls all over the world, but if you are one of them, would you bother with Eurovision? Who is the last 'star' from any country participating?
