Lyon v Besiktas marred by crowd disturbances. Lord knows why, but the thing is, if this had been an English team involved they'd have been banned by now. Why does this never happen to team from other countries? One country in particular seems to have quite a violent contingency of fans. (Leicester fans...trouble makers...really?????).

Football - a gentleman's game played (and supported) by oafs.

Rugby - an oaf's game played (and supported) by gentlemen.

It seems really unfair that England football fans keep being harassed by those nasty Spanish police.
The only reason I can think of is that Michael Howard's wish to declare war on Spain might have something to do with it.

A number of Leicester fans were arrested at have been sentence

They also let themselves down this week - far from innocent

The day after the bombings in Germany

On top of the chants about Gibralter etc

English hooligans abroad are alive and well it seems
You've posted that link twice now, did you not get the required reaction on the other thread? Hooligans are not good, however, what about defending the innocent fans who were baton charged innocently and witnessed by the BBC.
It would be nice for a balanced view if you condemned you own player for drink driving or you club when it was fined and banned for illegal approaches to kids.

Be realistic Paul, he does the Houdini act when it's his club in question.

That's true and what about all those innocent Rangers fans being innocently baton charged by aggressive police in Manchester after the City made a right organisational cock up.

No such thing as an innocent Rangers fan  ;)

Turkey and Russia are two countries with a real hooligan problem in their own leagues at the moment and there have been incidents with their clubs in Europe. It seems to me that Uefa are scared to act, especially in Russia with them having the World Cup next year. If this was an English side they'd have been chucked out.

Sorry I didn't realise my club was in question ? Have we been done for issue in regards crowd trouble recently ?

Your club isn't, it was your hypocrisy of you readily posting negative links about other clubs (Leicester one twice) and ignoring anything negative about yourselves.

cheers Paul

How the hell am I being hypocritical ?

Again what does Liverpool have to do with the crowd disturbance during the week or is it the normal case of bringing Liverpool into it from the usual suspects

If I have missed something negative about Liverpool it's more than likely because I'm ignoring the poster as opposed to the post

Basically, you're quick to point out issues when it comes to other clubs, sometimes highlighting the same point on multiple threads.
However when it's anything at all to do with your club you're nowhere to be seen.

You say it's the poster you're ignoring, but you still often reply to those you're supposedly ignoring when you see fit. Me included.

Who says I was ignoring you ?

Again this thread has nothing to do with Liverpool - it was a thread about the violence during the week and I highlighted an issue that affected an English club during the week

People whinge and bleat that I flood the threads now they are whinging and bleating when i don't respond to negative posts about Liverpool !! If i did that we would be here all day

This is simply a case of someone once again wanting to drag Liverpool into everything single topic negative about football and it's the same suspects every single time looking for a reaction

Maybe some people need to get over whatever infatuation they have with what I post or don't post

You asked how you were hypocritical and I explained. If you don't want to believe it that's on you.

The point still stands.

Richy, repost this as he claims not to read posts from people he ignores.

I wasn't commenting on your Club, I was commenting on you and your hypocrisy, do you want another example.

You've posted loads in the EU threads then celebrated it being closed down in another thread.

You've had a go at people insulting Delc when you've insulted him in the past.

You were all over the Everton/Man Utd game yet fail to comment on your own team v BMouth.

You have people on ignore then join conversations with them in, ie, me and Stu discussing Football and you answer his posts that are answering to mine, how confusing is that, you make a 2 way conversation 3 way then play the moral high ground because you have one of the posters on ignore, therefore denying one of the original 2 the right to reply, it's rude, if you have someone on ignore then ignore them completely, not pick and choose which of their conversations you'll join.

Please don't reply with the "it's a forum I can post blah blah what I like" it's rude!

You're wasting your time.
We've all seen him celebrating when other teams lose just to get a reaction.
I remember him giving it the old :whoo: when Chelsea got knocked out of the CL.
Surely the proper Liverpool fans on here can see why people give Liverpool stick on here.
Makes the same points over and over Again about Arsenal, but he's not obsessed.
